Wow, Groove Armada is back! 5 by .. Christopher J. Brown (music-liker)
Simply awesome. The tracks with Nick Littlemore are surprisingly great. Will Young is a tool, but the song with him is also... surprisingly great! Groove Armada brings out the best in other artists. The collaboration thing is awesome. Keep it up guys!

Black Light 5 by .. David A. Byers ()
They have gone and created an homage to the wall-of-synth-&-reverb UK pop of the 1980s. It plays like a Best!Album!Ever! that was forgotten in a time capsule 25 years ago. Absolutely terrific!

Fabulous 5 by .. Guy B. Phipps ()
This is one of those rare albums that works as a whole....and grows on you until it is on constant repeat. One comment - I prefer the UK track running order...

A Free Trip to the 80's Prom...of The Future 5 by .. ObiWanShinobi (Philadelphia, PA)
There's been an unsettling trend amongst the old "Big Name" DJ/Electronic acts nowadays, which involves them releasing 'concept' albums. The days of huge dancefloor tracks have been replaced by bland attempts at pop music. When I buy a Basement Jaxx album I am not interested in discovering what a duet between them and Yoko Ono sounds like. I already know that's going to be boring and terrible.

And this album is technically the same thing. Groove Armada ditches what made them so big in the first place, so if you are expecting anything like "I See You Baby" prepare to be disappointed.

That being said this is the best album I've heard in years. Remember how Daft Punk took 70's AM Gold rock/funk, electrified it and added some serious autotunage - and it worked so well that it was mind blowing? Same deal here. Groove Armada takes all these great ideas (and interesting in the fact that they aren't the front facing/obvious kinds of sounds you'd expect from someone attempting an 80's homage) from all kinds of 80's music (mostly synth-related) and gently dips them into just a wee bit of electro/house. It's like hearing a whole album of really solid 80's classics that have lived in the back of your mind for years, again...for the first time.

Just about every second of this album is laced with so much goodness it's hard to actually stop listening to it. It's that good. Groove Armada has produced the best album of 2010 in my opinion and I gotta tell you it's been a while since I have been this blown away by an entire album.

If you love the 80's (and not just the Duran Duran's and A-Ha's) you are in for a treat. Again if you're looking for "Classic" Groove Armada you might be surprised...but if you like good music that surprise will be extremely pleasant. Check out "Paper Romance" and "I Won't Kneel" to get a good slice of what this album is about.

If you haven't bought this already. Do it now. This one's a keeper. Definitely the best work Groove Armada...or anybody has done for a long time.

So pack up your skinny tie, roll up the sleeves on your satin blazer, grab your 'Keytuar" and jump into the backseat of a Delorean to take a sweet, sweet ride Back to The Future.

Pushing the envelope 4 by .. D. Guerrero (Austin, TX)
This album is great and really pushes the envelope of what is being done right now. It's hard to find something original and this album is definitely a find.
